After months full of murmuring and hearsay, it has today been confirmed that Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles is divorcing the singer’s father (and manager) Mathew after 29 years of marriage.

Interestingly, the power couple’s separation was legally filed back in November (as the pic below shows, courtesy of Bossip), yet only a few hours ago made its way out into the media:

Whatever the reason for their parting (which I’m sure will form the basis of many a debate), 29 years of marriage resulting in a divorce is quite sad. Sigh…

Que Kicked Out Of Day26?

Now I'm getting word that Que of Day26 has been kicked out the group. Que let the world know about the drama via his Twitter. People are acting surprised but if you seen the last season of making the band then you already know. As far as the twitter massage Que posted this:

wow..im soo hurt RT now i just recieved a letter from day26 saying they r moving foward without me…im so confused..what did i do?

Rihanna "Hard" Video

Well finally we get to see the latest video from your girl Rih. It's her new video for "Hard" ft. Young Jeezy. To be honest for me it's a hot video, can't say it was a let down by any means. However the only problem I have is with Rihs performance. She seemed very contrived and forced. Then again what can you do with a girl with the performance skills of am ant.

New PhotoShoot: Lady GaGa and Kanye West

So I got my hands on the Dave LaChapelle photo shoot of Kanye and Lady Gaga. It was shot for the Fame Monster Deluxe Album artwork booklet. It cool I guess, tho Gaga's not wearing any clothes and that's suppose to be shocking (side eye).
Here's the thing about Lady Gaga that makes me think. She is the type of artist that likes to push the envelope, and you come to expect her to do so. But this isn't a 1980 Madonna world anymore. Here's what I mean, back when Madonna was doing her thing it was really edgy, and no one was testing the sexual limits like she was. Things we never thought you could get away with she did it.


However now we as customers have seen it all , and after a while Lady Gaga will be a "been their done that" type of artist. When the funny makes ans stuff get old then what. Thank god she has her talent to fall back on, but will that be enough?.
Anyway, I love photographer Dave LaChapelle and his work. He always brings something fresh.

Chris Brown News

Chris is mad, and letting everybody know it. He went into a CT Walmart, and they weren't carrying his new "Graffitti" CD. Long story short guys, he spoke to the manager and then tweeted this




This is why he says his sales are low. The Hits Daily Double final tally is in this week and it’s not good news for "Graffiti" debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200, with first week sales of just 102,489. Can't say I blame him. Plus if you have secret information that your CD ain't gonna have big numbers, why not creative and magnify a situation like this.
Chris has since deleted his twitter account(probily forced by his handlers). Which is a good and bad thing, really he wasn't posting Kanye drama was he?

Also check Chris sell out venues around the US with his ‘Fan Appreciation Tour’. During a recent stop at New York’s famed NOKIA Theatre, the 20 year old gave a roof-raising tribute to his idol – the late, great King of Pop Michael Jackson. Giving his dance renditions of ‘Thriller’, ‘Rock With You’, and ‘Billie Jean’, Brown showed not only why his behind should have performed at the BET Awards (he’s one of a few active males in the industry able to do MJ justice), but also why he is one of the industry’s premier performers.

Kelly And Nelly New Music

I'm going to try my best to be as positive as I can about this. I realize there is a possibility that I'm just tripping.
I'm just gonna put it out there the way I feel first, (but put it in parenthesis like I never said it)

(Kelly Rowland is a very talented young lady. She is beautiful and has been groomed for success. However her career is built on a double edged sword. One side of the sword is, she was apart of a hugely successful girl group that put her in the position that she' in today. The other side is, Beyonce, enough said. She will perform, sing, dance her heart out to the best of her ability and always be compared to her. And lets face it, Beyonce is a beast. Kelly's live vocal performance most times leave more to be desired, but you cannot deny her beautiful texture and tone of her voice. Her voice is best captured in the studio, and sounds great.)

But she has lastly resorted to a "new female in the game" mentalaty, and to be honest it's not a good look. She debuts along side a DJ, which name I won't mention(his head is big enough), like she was some back up singer. Let me try to explain what I mean. It was IMO like she forgot her impact in the game and allowed herself to be nothing more than a vocal prop.
And now she is taking video model roles and repeating her first collabo since their ‘Dilemma’ back in 2002. I see Kelly as such a bigger star, and it just bothers me to see her go this route.
You may not be as strong as far as live performances go, but Kelly you been in this game for a minute too!

Tough love from me I geuss, cuz I want Kells to bring it.

According to Mariah Daily Journal, Mariah is set to release a dance record featuring Jump Smokers remixes and R&B/Hip-Hop/Pop remixes of "Memoirs of an Imperfect" next year.
Really Mariah, a bad album and now not one but two remixes of said bad album?

Universal Music Group has just announced that Mariah Carey will be embarking on an 8-week, 19-city North American tour. The tour will be preceded by a performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City and officially begin on January 2nd at Borgata in Atlantic City.

Kelis New Album News

After giving fans her new single, “♫ Acapella,” late last month, Kelis has announced that her fifth album, Flesh Tones will be released next spring. Kelis had this to say,

“Originally I wanted to do something electro,” she told MTV News. “I kind of went through all these different phases of what I wanted it to be. In recording stuff, it kept changing. Finally it got to this really electronic, dance, really melodic vibe. Everything started to come in that space. I started to fall in love with it. It took a life unto itself. It wasn’t calculated. … All the stuff I fell in love with and stuff I was writing fell into that space. It’s sort of a new-age disco — futuristic disco.”

Alexandra Burke Video For "Broken Heels"

So I got the new video for you guys. It's her latest single called "Broken Heels". It was shot in Los Angeles last month, and get this, Frank Gatson choreographed the video.
For those who don't know who that is, it's Beyonce choreographer. It's really interesting to see him work with someone other that Bee, cuz now I can see what he truly brings to the table. The video is just ok for me, and although she rocked it, the actual choreography was just uh, but that's just me. Then again the song does NOTHING for me, so that can't help. It's not hard to see that Alexandra Burke has the potential to become a big star, just not with songs like this, at least not for the US market.
