R&B star Chris Brown will be taking his ‘Fan Appreciation Tour’ around the globe. BET has confirmed that Brown will be headlining their forthcoming "Spring Bling" on April 10th. That is definitely good new for the "Crawl" singer that as of late began to beg for his career back.

Chris Brown was also spotted at the LA Lakers vs Minnesota Timberwolves basketball game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Yeah that's Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes at the game too.

Chris Brown Pleads With Fans

Chris must really be feeling the heat. And you can tell in his voice that he just wants to move on.I've heard his latest album and it's pretty solid as a body of work.

“I ain’t never really did this but right now I need all of my fans help. Some radio stations aren’t playing my records. They are not being that supportive and I wouldn’t expect them to. It’s on the fans and you guys do what’s in your power to bring me back. That’s all I need is you guys and nothing else will do that except for the fans.
I don’t know what else to say. It’s nothing else that I can do. I’m doing everything that I need to do. I’m doing me as a person and I’m a better guy. It’s on ya’ll. My singing and my music I do it for you guys and everything else but it won’t be possible if I’m not relevant on the radio and it wouldn’t be possible for me to be an artist if I don’t have any support from the people giving artists an outlet. I can’t be an underground mixtape artist. That’s where we are. I just want all my fans to help me. I love ya’ll. Peace”

Chris Odered To Court Today...UPDATED

Chris Brown is scheduled to appear before a judge today to prove he’s been in compliance with his court-ordered community service in Virginia. From what I'm hearing the judge wants to make sure Chris is doing hard labor.


UPDATED:

Chris had a good day in court. He went bofore the judge and she was pleased with him. Chris has completed 32 day of his court ordered 180 days and is indeed doing hard labor. He has also completed a good amont of his domestic violence classes.
He is now allowed to leave the US for bussiness..

Judge Schnegg said during court that:
"It looks like your doing really, really well." And added, "That's always good to see"

Wow two reallys huh...good job Chris...

This is Chris going to court...Love that jacket, gonna have to get my people to make me one of those.

At first, he sounded like his nerves had gotten to him, tho I can 't blame him. It was really the first time since the incident that he has been in front of such a large mainstream audience. This was like a Grammy type audience, think about it. You got fan and a room full of his peers. He's been onstage at his "Fan Appreciation Tour", but if your not a youtube watcher or a fan you wouldn't know. He also was on "The Wendy Williams Show". No shade indented but, not a lot of people tune into her show. Not to mention the people in the arena. They were now faced with the fact that Chris Brown was now a surprise performance. It's not like they could have gotten up and left ; it was for Haiti mind you.
Overall I enjoyed it, tho the clearly were shaky moments when he loss his vocal footing, but then again it's been a while.

Who Is The King Of R&B???

As much as some may hate to admit it (including me) Beyonce is by far the Queen of R&B. Though there are a lot of female artist that have tried to come for her crown, only to look stupid in the process. Other than the fact that either she completely doesn't care or just ignores them, she truly is on a whole different level.
Ciara and Keri Hilson are two of many that have had there choice of word for the "Single Ladies" singer. But what made these two stand out is the fact that they both decided to make their words public; and going as far as spending the energy to record dis records.
And even as I type, I think to myself, many rappers have done the same, but for a female R&B artist to do so wasn't the best look for their careers. You may dislike or even hate her but it is what it is.

Which brings me to the point of this post. Usher in his "Yeah" days was no doubt the king of R&B. He had the dance move and singing ability, not to mention the sex appeal to raise above the rest. His relationship with Chille of TLC, only helped "Confession" become one of the best selling albums of all time.
But with his marriage to Tameeka Foster and his last album not performing well even with his fans, his swagga has seem to fade to say the least. Although I see what he was trying to do with his last album, I was not surprised that it couldn't accomplish the same.
We all know very well by now what Chris Brown's reason is for not being at the top of the line for the crown. His trouble doesn't at this point need to be repeated.
At first I felt, if he completely disappeared it would be okay for him. But he just started doing that with his noticeable absence from this years Grammys.
And there are other names such as Omarion and other I can't even remember which is not good for them.
UPDATED: I just thought of some, J Holiday, The Dream, Jamie Foxx,Tray Songz, Maxwell and Ray J).
And lastly we have Mario. He has had some really good albums in the past which I bought, but some reason his shine is always duller than the rest (tho I'm not sure why.) "Break Up" was a hot song, don't lie...


So my question to you is...Who IS The King Of R&B???

Frown Face For Rihanna and Chris Brown

Well it seems as if the BS has caught up with the two. Although none of their fans will admit it, even when presented with the facts. Chris and Rihanna's stars had started to fade even before the public incident.
Rehab feat Timberlake was one of the last videos she dropped before the incident. And if you checked the internet blogs you would have seen people were getting a little bored with her music wise. Other than that silly church woman hat she were in public her fashion game was still tight, and she was being call a fashion icon.
No Air feat Jordin Sparks was his last record. A hot song, hot combo, that caused that song to be everywhere. And when the video came out it was over. But Chris had this cornball thing with him that you either thought was cute or you couldn't stand.
However after the incident things went left for them both, with Chris looking like a monster and Rihanna tho the visible victim.(but not looking like a perfect angel in the matter).
Afterward Rih walked the streets while staying quiet and never discussing the issue, while Chris talked to anyone who would listen while never really discussing "it".
And when her album was set to drop, then she wanted to talk, and in doing so she didn't come across completely truthful.
She released a single, he released a single. She put out an album, he put out an album. And so on and so on.
But now they are both having a hard time selling albums, and the blog comments have flipped. Surprisingly more for Chris than Rih.
Rihanna's "Rated R" album has only sold 571,733 to date. Which is a high number, but for her it's a flop.
And Chris's latest "Graffiti" is even worse with 258,184 sold to date.
I'm scared to say that I liked Chris Brown's album much betta than Rihanna's but that's just me.

Chris is mad, and letting everybody know it. He went into a CT Walmart, and they weren't carrying his new "Graffitti" CD. Long story short guys, he spoke to the manager and then tweeted this




This is why he says his sales are low. The Hits Daily Double final tally is in this week and it’s not good news for "Graffiti" debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200, with first week sales of just 102,489. Can't say I blame him. Plus if you have secret information that your CD ain't gonna have big numbers, why not creative and magnify a situation like this.
Chris has since deleted his twitter account(probily forced by his handlers). Which is a good and bad thing, really he wasn't posting Kanye drama was he?

Also check Chris sell out venues around the US with his ‘Fan Appreciation Tour’. During a recent stop at New York’s famed NOKIA Theatre, the 20 year old gave a roof-raising tribute to his idol – the late, great King of Pop Michael Jackson. Giving his dance renditions of ‘Thriller’, ‘Rock With You’, and ‘Billie Jean’, Brown showed not only why his behind should have performed at the BET Awards (he’s one of a few active males in the industry able to do MJ justice), but also why he is one of the industry’s premier performers.

New Music And Drama: Chris Brown

Chris Brown’s VIBE magazine feature has some pretty opinionated statements coming from Brown. He speaking his mind, and I ain't mad at 'em for it. In the issue, the talked about this year’s BET Awards. This year they called themselves honoring The Great Late Michael Jackson. Brown was removed from the program after what happened involving ex-girlfriend Rihanna. He had this to say:

“It was whack. I’ll keep it a hundred. The BET Awards was horrible. I was watching it, holding my face like, ‘Oh my God this is wack’. I didn’t get it. Michael Jackson was such a big entertainer. And I’m not dissing any of the artists who did the songs. But I was expecting a lot more energy for Michael. And BET Awards usually comes hard. I was expecting them to have Usher, Omarion and even Justin. And I was expecting Ne-Yo to dance. They were so bent on not getting me there that they messed up their own show.”

His camp has also released the names of his next two singles. "Pass Out" for the pop market, and "Singing Like Me" for the urban. I love both songs, so he betta come hard with the videos and of course I'll post them when I get them.
