I’m on the plane listening to The College Dropout. It brings back so many memories. When we made it, I had all 6 parents, 4 grandparents and my mom and dad. Now I have my dad and my grandfather. Music is so nostalgic. Every song I listen to brings me back to when I first played them for my mom, when I first played them for Dame, when I first played them for Jay, When I first played them for Kweli, When I first played them for my n*ggas back in Chi, When the album first came out, When I first called Ebro from Hot 97 and begged him to play Through The Wire, When DJ Pharris blew me up in the Chi.
We used to be the n*ggas rocking polo shirts, Louie backpacks, paper denim jeans and exclusive Adidas from Sporty LA. We were the Underdogs. I never feel like I’m not the Underdog. I never felt completely comfortable. I’m tormented by the need to create.

 Kanye West  released a new video for “Coldest Winter” directed by Nabil Elderkin. The song is based on Kanye’s past relationship with his former fiancee’ Alexis and the loss of his mother.

Well it's the Spring/Summer 2010 menswear line from Givenchy. The Check/Plaid gold embellish shirt doesn't look as good on the runway as it does on Ye, that's the magic of swagga I guess.

New PhotoShoot: Lady GaGa and Kanye West

So I got my hands on the Dave LaChapelle photo shoot of Kanye and Lady Gaga. It was shot for the Fame Monster Deluxe Album artwork booklet. It cool I guess, tho Gaga's not wearing any clothes and that's suppose to be shocking (side eye).
Here's the thing about Lady Gaga that makes me think. She is the type of artist that likes to push the envelope, and you come to expect her to do so. But this isn't a 1980 Madonna world anymore. Here's what I mean, back when Madonna was doing her thing it was really edgy, and no one was testing the sexual limits like she was. Things we never thought you could get away with she did it.


However now we as customers have seen it all , and after a while Lady Gaga will be a "been their done that" type of artist. When the funny makes ans stuff get old then what. Thank god she has her talent to fall back on, but will that be enough?.
Anyway, I love photographer Dave LaChapelle and his work. He always brings something fresh.

Spotted Kanye West!!!

Kanye West came out... of hiding to engage in some retail therapy in Paris early Tuesday morning (Nov 24). With his handlers near his side the entire time, Kanye hit up Roberto Cavalli and Marni as he spent his money in the French capital.
