The Jackson Family Weren’t Invited to the Grammys?

Michael Jackson was posthumously awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Award Sunday night (Jan 31) at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, and his children were there to accept it on his behalf. But his brother Randy claims that the Jackson family (minus the kids) weren’t invited to the ceremony to witness it.

Lord Why??? Feat. Lady Gaga

I can't wait 'till Lady Gaga is over dressing like this. I liked her red carpet look, but this is what I wish would go away. The Grammys ain't over yet and she wearing this. I was riding with her too. Hope she doesn't change into something worse like she's known to do.

.

Michael Jackson Tribute

To be honest I don't even want to talk about this. Let's just say this made what BET did look good. Maybe I should have gotten my 3D glasses. Lolz for me is when Usher dropped to his knees while singing. Jennifer Hudson sounded good tho (most times her yelling is too much for me)

I can't...

.

Who Rocked It Best

Beyonce wore this Atelier Versace black metallic bustier mini dress as she performed during the Grammys Sunday. But Rihanna rocked it wore it first in her Vogue Italia shoot a few months ago.

Who Looked Betta??

Jennifer Hudson FAb

Clive Davis held his annual pre-grammy Gala last night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, honoring Universal Music Group’s CEO Doug Morris. All the stars showed up from Mary J, Katy Perry and Rihanna. But Jennifer Hudson really caght my attention when she walked out on the red carpet. Later that night she sang a two-song tribute to Barbara Striesand.

And here she is at the Grammys.Fab just Fab...

Lady Gaga

A lot of people are mad as hell and feel she was robbed. She didn't even get to have the two Grammys that she did win televised. They say the award she was a shoe in for (Album Of The Year) went to Taylor Swift. Though she has a crazy idea of what fashion is, she still managed to look good. Her audience outfit was so lucky. I posted about it, check it out cuz I can't right now. On a positive note, her proformance was off the hook, and was even joined by Elton John. But I do have to admitt it seemed like she was cheated a little.

Grammy Talk

So the Grammys are over and time for the after party. And if your were one of the winners then you got a lot to drink to. Celeb aren't the only winners, CBS execs are dancing in their chairs.
The 52 Grammys pulled in the highest numbers in six years with 25.8 million veiwers, beating everyone in that time slot.
Congrats are due all around, and if you watched you know that it was one of the best shows in a long time.
With lady Gaga picking up 2 awards, Taylor Swift grabbing 4, and Beyonce breaking the record for most awards won in a single night by a female with 6 awards.

Who was your queen of the night?

Who was your favorite proformer?

And who rocked the red carpet and who should have stayed home (Ciara)?

SideBar: Did anyone notice Whitney and Chris Brown were no shows?

Beyonce Is Queen Of The Night

Beyonce was indeed the big winner of the night, taking home six Grammys and breaking the record for a female winning that many awards in one night. She was up for 10 awards and came home with six, tho she lost Album of The Year to Taylor Swift. She also had a shoe stopping proformance of "If I Were A Boy, and "You Outta Know" which I will be posting later. But in the meantime check out the pictures from last night.

She won the following:

Song Of The Year (Single Ladies)
Best Female Pop Proformance (Halo)
Best Female R&B Proformance (Single Ladies)
Best Traditional R&B Proformance (At Last)
Best R&B Song (Single Ladies)
Best Contempory R&B Album (I Am...Sasha Fierce)

Lady Gaga Opens Grammy Box

So I got the official word that Lady Gaga is opening the Grammys this Sunday. This is really great and deserving new for the"bad Romance" singer. She has truly worked for it and will rock on Grammy night.
There is aslo word going around my circle of bloggers that Beyonce may even join her on stage in some way to perform there song "Telephone", but nothing solid as of yet.

.

No "Performance" From Rihanna

Rihanna has revealed that she will not perform this Sunday at the Grammy Awards. She obviously had troubles last year with Chris Brown. According to neonlimelight.com, she told Carson Daily earlier today: Performance

“We messed their show up pretty bad last year. They might be a little mad at me.”

Good!!!

Don't wanna go at her today so I'll just say GOOD!!!!

WTF Whitney No Grammy What?

No Grammy Nominations for Whitney Houston? That doesn't even make any scene. Her two singles were hot, not the hottest songs on the album, but still.
Her people are going to have to came up with a plan B. Whitney was a shoe in for a Grammy this year, with her big comeback and all. And the Grammy should have been the cherry on top. Some are saying it's because of her diva attitude with the Grammy committee in the pass, but that is just a rumor.

Really?

.

WTF???

The Dream Is Seeing Nightmares

Talented R&B songwriter The-Dream was livid last night about not receiving not one Grammy nod. In a nut shell the Grammy nod are voted on by people in the industry. The very people that come to him for a hit records somehow think that none of his solo albums are Grammy worthy? Side-Eye...This years ‘Love vs. Money’ was all over the radio. And his first album still gets play from start to finish in my CD play now, but then again I'm not on the committee. The Dream took to twitter to blast the industry for the apparent oversight.

Can't blame him...and just so you know "Single Ladies" and "Blame It" were written by him.(among others)
