D’Angelo Arrested

Grammy Award-winning R&B singer  was arrested early yesterday after allegedly offering an undercover policewoman $40 for oral sex while cruising alone through the West Village — with $12,000 stashed in his SUV.
D’Angelo, 36, whose real name is Michael Archer, was in his top-of-the-line Range Rover at Greenwich and Horatio streets at about 2:30 a.m. when he spotted a woman he took to be a prostitute, sources said.
He was arrested and charged with solicitation after asking the woman for sex, the sources said. His manager declined to comment.

New Music With Mariah And The Dream

I've got new music for you. Wish I could say it was good tho. This is the remixed version of "Ribbon" features the song’s co-writer, The-Dream, and rapper Ludacris. ‘Angel’s Advocate’ will be released via Target on March 30th.

Things are not looking very Hollywood for Mariah Carey. ‘Angel’s Advocate’ has failed to excite fans,with the lead  singles ‘Up Out My Face’ and the Ne-Yo assisted ‘Angel’s Cry’ failing miserably on the charts.  While ‘Up Out My Face’ peaked disappointingly at #100 on Billboard Hot 100, ”Cry’ embarrassingly never garnered enough airplay or downloads to even debut on the chart.

This era is quickly descending into a hot burning mess for our Mimi. It’s all rather sad. With the Oscar buzz around ‘Precious’, as well as her other projects, it’s a bit baffling as to why she’d opt not to just concentrate on those (forgetting and hoping we did too) the epic flop that was ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’). Instead she’s subjecting herself to more embarrassment by lazily releasing a half-baked remix record. I really do not know who or what is helping her make these ill-informed decisions,

Bow Wow has announced that he is working on a new album. He was recently interviewed by HipHopWired and revealed details about the LP which will serve as his Cash Money debut release.

“I am here to announce that I will have a double disc album, 2 CDs in 1 album. With every album I try to be creative when it comes to a theme for my CD’s. I have no name yet…but I chose 2 discs in 1 because every album I always say “Man I wish the whole album was like my Greenlight mixtapes because everybody loves the Greenlight series or I wish I wish I had an album full of just hot rap shit like “Fresh Azimiz” and my “Oh I Think They Like Me” verse.”

“I want to cater to all my demographics. I want every 1 to be pleased as I’m gearing up to make my Cash Money debut. So this album is a more of a me thing, but u all will love it because this album is a reflection of who I am. Maybe we all might have something in common once y’all listen to it. Maybe 1 side will be your favorite, hell maybe even both of them. So get to know someone y’all think y’all know but have no idea. This should be fun.”

Kelly Rowland Does Mardis Gras 2010

Kelly Rowland hit the stage at the Gay & Lesbian Mardis Gras 2010 event in Syndey, Australia. The "Like This" singer performed her latest single "When Loves Takes Over" with DJ David Guetta. She had a lot of bells and whistles that were pretty cool to see and she sounded pretty Hollywood as well. It wasn't perfect, but I'm starting to think that this is all we can expect from her. Rowland’s new album hits stores soon.
