You know what, I can't try to be nice, it was horrible. They had so much talent in the building and some of the people they used was a bad call. There were many people missing not to mention Janet Jackson herself. Yeah she appeared via an edited in performance, but that came off as being tacky. If they were going to remake history they should have made sure that ish was together, including having Janet physically in the house. .
Jennifer Hudson was a good and obvious choice, and she rocked the parts the she sang. MaryMary did their thing, though I feel like they were given too many add lips towards the end.
Mary J did her thing as usual, and could have gotten more. But then we cut to damn Miley singing, and now I'm like WTF??? Going down hill...
And Nicole Scherzinger is featured a lot through out the song, like really??? Going down...
Musiq Soulchild, just to name one person off the top of my head that was their that should have done it over her any day. Going down faster...
I don't really want to talk about it, but I must.
What was Wycelf doing??? He sounded like a dieing jungle animal.
That being said, knowing I'd rather say something positive cuz he's Haiti represent, but I can't.
And the random auto tune solos were not even laughable because they so should have been left out. And did Jamie really do a Ray Charles impersonation?

BOSSIP recently learned that Rihanna has been cast in her first starring role! The only catch… the folks behind the film aren’t all that confident in RihRih’s acting.
Rihanna’s big role is for a film called About Face, which revolves around a fashion designer who has to change her ways to win over the man of her dreams, not unlike the Billy Dee Williams and Diana Ross classic Mahogany. Here’s the hitch:

“No one is sure she has any acting skills. She’s a bit stiff and has to learn how to emote more,” a source tells Star. “She’s been asked to quietly take acting classes. No one wants another Madonna on their hands — someone who can sing but can’t act!”

Hate to break it to the producers of this one, but Rihanna can’t do either. Neither can Madonna if you want to be all the way real about it. Then again, Rihanna actually might make a decent actress, goodness knows we’ve seen her play the role enough…

First off this doesn't seem like a good idea at all, and whoever the hell said Madonna can sing, should be shot. She can't even connect with her fans via her performance and she's gonna star in a movie?

WTF Kelly!!!

So I'm over at NecoleBitchie and I see these pictures of Kelly Rowland's and Brandy's shared birthday party, and I can't help but to think,
WHAT THE HELL IS KELLY WEARING!!!!! I mean really Kelly.

The page loaded and I'm like, WTF!!!! She could have invited her edges alone to the party...

Now I do realize that most of my posts of Ms Kelly aren't the most positive post and I can be really hard on her sometimes, but that can hardly be my fault. She stepping out in ill fitting wigs, showing horrible fashion choices (at times), and her inconsistency in her live vocals are not something I can cover up no matter how much I love the girl.
Granted I'm willing to except that maybe while she was in Destiny's Child, her true image wasn't being shown, but really????
And maybe I could forgive her if it wasn't her birthday party for Pete's sake. The worst of it all is I'm looking at the comments and they are praising this mess. So that got me to thinking, do people hate Beyonce so much that they are willing to pit them against each other and blindly praise the underdog (Kelly) no matter what? Or are Kelly's fans just as delusional as Beyonce stans are?
I always feel the need to fall back and suggest that maybe I'm just being to hard on her, but I think I may have had enough of backing down.

It really gets good at the 1:50 mark. though I can't say this is a home run for the "Umbrella" singer, but it's not a flop either. The dancing if taken in a comical way works for this video. However I think she was trying to be serious and sexy, but the stiff grinding and posing does not accomplish that. I will say this though, I wouldn't want my daughter singing this song...

According to MTV, the "Lollipop" singer Lil Wayne (pictured above with his alleged new girlfriend) was a very busy lil man this weekend. He spent the entire weekend filming ten music videos from his latest album "Rebirth". Five were filmed Friday and the other five were filmed Saturday. MTV is also reporting that some were shot on green screen and others were shot on location. Wayne’s next single “Da Da Da” was filmed on top of the Marlin Hotel in Miami.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has named Beyoncé as the official face of their limited-edition “Fashion For Haiti” T-shirt. The charitable tee features black and lime green graphics designed by Peter Arnell, who also created the CFDA’s iconic “Fashion for America” mended heart T-shirt that raised $2 million dollars following 9/11 for the Twin Towers Fund. As the spokesperson for “Fashion For Haiti,” Beyoncé has a message for all fashionistas: “Join me and the fashion industry by buying and wearing the Fashion for Haiti T-shirt. "We Are The World" Without Lady Gaga

It was rumored that Lady Gaga would later submit her voval construbtion the the 2010 remake of "We Are The World" it has being revealed that she will in fact not be involed. She had this to say:

"I've actually been in rehearsal for my new tour, but I was never supposed to do 'We Are the World.' So that's a rumor," Lady Gaga told "Access Hollywood." "I believe that they may have asked, yes, about it, but I was unable to do it."

But Gaga is quick to point out that just because she didn't get involved with "We Are the World" doesn't mean she hasn't done her part for the nation. "I've been working on my own charity projects for Haiti," she explained. "We've raised over half a million dollars for Haiti already and we like to work specifically with charities that are based in Haiti itself."

Hollywood Sign Going Green

Don't panic, Angelinos!
As part of the effort to save the Hollywood sign, a conservationist group has permission to cover the iconic hilltop letters and display the message Save the Peak.
The nonprofit Trust for Public Land are hoping to save the Cahuenga Peak, which consists of 138 acres adjacent to the Hollywood sign that sits on government property. The group needs another $6.2 million to save the landmark from becoming the plot for four oversized homes, which would eff up the view and a bunch of hiking trails.
The temporary environmental message will be put up on Wednesday and last till the following Monday.
Devoted celebrity followers of Trust for Public Land include Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Virginia Madsen, Tippi Hedren, John Slattery, Aisha Tyler, Julian McMahon, James Kyson-Lee, Beau Garrett and Katherine Morris.

The ‘Miss Independent’ singer/songwriter joins the likes of Brian Kennedy, Jermaine Dupri, Bangladesh, Baby Face, Toby Gad, David Guetta, Rico Love, Jim Jonsin, Bryan-Michael Cox, Eric Hudson, and The Stereotypes, all of whom Rowland has worked with on the album.

During the Super Bowl after party at Liv in Miami, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Timbaland were just sitting at a table relaxing until a champagne bottle came whizzing past RiRi and shattered on the ground just inches from her.
The panic continued as five magnums of Laurent Perrier Rose were thrown from the balcony and the perpetrators screamed "touchdown" every time a bottle smashed. And when someone from Ri's table threw a bottle back, all hell broke looks.
At the time, the DJ was spinning Rihanna's Run This Town and proceeded to halt the track before kicking everyone out of the the club saying, "Everybody get the f*** out. Super Bowl is ruined."
But it could have been a lot worse! Beat-Her-Down was seen in the club just hours before! The two managed to escape a run-in when Brown left the club early.

The best part of the video is when they tell her that she has more Grammys than Tina Turner and Barbra Strisand and many others. She clearly wasn't aware of it, something that a woman with a big ego would know. But that is what make her special. After all these years in the game and she still grounded. And that's why I ultimately respect her.

Tooth Decay Delayed Lil Wayne's Jail Sentence

So it seems your boy Lil Wayne won't start his jail sentence today as planned. It has been reported by MTV.com that he had to have some sort of dental surgery. His oral surgery is scheduled for Friday, but he won't have to face the judge again until March 2nd. He was scheduled to be formally sentenced to a year in prison today for illegally being in possession of a loaded gun.

Rapper Nelly took a punch trying to break up a fight between his bodyguards and club bouncers at club Liv at Miami's Fontainebleau Friday night. As he was taking the stage at the pre-SuerBowl party his security team appeared to get into an argument with the hotel'security staff, said a source,

"Nelly got in the middle and got punched by mistake. Then it spilled out the back door and continued outside."
