For those of you that didn't believe me when I said this edgy over the top look wouldn't last to long on the red carpet, case in point Ciara and Rihanna.
Rihanna made her grand entrance at Clive Davis’s Annual Pre-Grammy Gala last night wearing a interesting to sat the least umber from Viktor & Rolf’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection. She looked quite silly if you ask me. Don't get me wrong o the runways of Paris, it is applause worthy. But introduce what Lady Gaga has done in the past fashion wise and thee looks come across as bootleg. The designers have described the line as “credit card crunch” couture. I still can't figure out if that is a good or bad thing.
Not to be left out in the hot mess department, Ciara showed up dressed in Givenchy’s Couture Spring 2010 collection. As I said before she is currently their “Muse” for the fashion line… Ciara clothes wore her in this case, and next to Rihanna she came off as Big Bird-ish.
But really when it all boils down it to me were the women in the clothes that ruined it for me.
