There’s no denying that Alicia Keys was definitely a busy woman today as she also made a stop at NYC’s Collette Blanchard Gallery to promote her new jewelry collection with The Barber’s Daughters designer Gisele Theirault. The songstress recently explained to WWD why she decided to team up with Gisele to create her very own jewelry line. She said,“I fell in love with the individuality of the pieces, but more than that, the words that were written on them really resonated with the songwriter in me. I knew at that moment, for the first time, that through a whole other medium I would be able to spread inspiration, and that’s what got me started.
Alicia’s collection of necklaces which feature precious metals and gems inscribed with inspiration messages will range from $85-$2,500. Unfortunately, jewelry lovers will have to wait a while ’cause the collection won’t be available till next year.
her new album “The Element of Freedom” set to hit store shelves December 15th.
